AQUA BOUY Design & Engineering: EBDG provided complete hull, system and mooring detailed design of a wave energy converter test device installed offshore Newport, OR including significant marine system operations support.
Upper Baker Lake Floating Surface Collector: EBDG has now completed multiple Floating Surface Collector projects, intended to capture juvenile fish for transportation around dams. Our scope of work includes new design, plan review, construction inspections, stability analysis and operations support during ballasting and deballasting.
Helicopter Yacht Concept Design: EBDG's design team created this concept design for a yacht that serves as a mobile landing platform for helicopters, allowing the owner to readily transport guests from the airport, to the yacht, to his home on shore.
36' Plug Barge Design: EBDG teamed with Nichols Diversified Industries to design a 36'x12' aluminum equipment barge, which will be used primarily on Lake Mead by Southern Nevada Water Authority for their Lake Mead Hydro-intake project.
Scuplture NIMO: When IDEC Pharmaceuticals commissioned the NIMO sculpture, they contacted EBDG to help make their vision a reality by lofting the design. NIMO represents a "Y" shaped molecule which is the foundation for one of IDEC's leading drugs. NIMO measures 20' x 10' x 12' high, the skin plate and internal framing is 1/4" steel. There are no right angles and only the ends are flat plate.
