PRINCE OF WALES
Scope of Work - This passenger vehicle
ferry was designed for the people of Prince of Wales Island in
Southeast Alaska. EBDG has been working with the island community
since 1995, crafting a vessel that meets its needs. The resulting
vessel will be 197'-6" long, with a molded beam of 53'-0" and a
depth of 17'-9". The ferry will carry 150 passengers and
approximately 30 vehicles. Citizen input led to amenities such as
children's playroom, library/reading room, coffee shop and
provisions throughout the passenger areas for operating personal
electronic devices.
